Manjara Charitable Trust was established in 1988 under the guidance of Late Hon. Shri Vilasraoji Dagdojirao Deshmukh, Ex Chief Minister, Maharashtra State. Manjra Charitable Trust has sponsored many educational institutions in the range of Marathwada at the beginning and now it is spreading up all over the state of Maharashtra. The number of educational institutions from K.G. to Graduate / Post Graduate degrees have been started to impart education in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Medical, Engineering, Agriculture etc. The main object of the Trust is to eradicate the backwardness in the field of education and prepare the youngsters to accept the new challenges of the hours. Formerly, this Trust tried to cover the area of Marathwada and then paved the way to the area of Navi Mumbai. This Trust is entrusted to open new Educational Institutions in different part of the State. Manjra Charitable Trust undertook the innovative programme in 1990 and started Smt. Sushiladevi Deshmukh Mahila Mahavidyalaya at Latur to impart the higher education to the economically and socially backward students from rural as well as urban area.
