Women’s Hostel

The institution has hostel with boarding facility for girls with a total intake capacity of 38 students. This hostel has been constructed under the special plan of UGC for the construction of Women’s Hostel under Xth plan. Preference is given to the students coming from rural areas. Hostel has its own mess, common room, generator facility, Solar System, Hot Water, RO facility for drinking water, Television, space for outdoor sports, etc. The hostel common room subscribes to newspapers regularly. The college has the support of ‘Health Care Center’ of Ayurvedic College, one of the sister institutes in same city. Students of the hostel practice Yoga every morning. All selected students who need the hostel accommodation are required to apply after the commencement of classes.
The students are expected to observe the rules and regulations of hostel prescribed for them. Failure to observe discipline or violation of rules and regulations may make a student liable to disciplinary action, which may result in expulsion from hostel. If a student does not appear at the final examination or fails, she has to apply afresh for the hostel accommodation.
‘Night Reading Room’ is also available in hostel. Two students look after and take care of this reading. The time of Reading Room is 7.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.
